International GCSE (IGCSE) Exam Entry

You can take the International GCSE in either summer or November (and possibly January). Summer exams are held in May/ June. There are two main examination boards – Edexcel and CIE.

Contact your local exam centre in early January for the summer exams, and for November exams contact them in early September. You will be entering as an external or private candidate. Speak to the examination officer at the centre, and arrange with them to take the exam, giving the details below. Be aware there is a separate fee for this payable to the centre.

Exam Codes:    4MA0/F for foundation tier covering grades C to G  Or: 4MA0/H for higher tier covering grades A* to D

 

NOTE: Since most people are looking for a grade C or above the higher tier is usually chosen.
