GCSE Mathematics Course
Our GCSE mathematics home study course is suitable for all examination boards (Edexcel, AQA, OCR). It is ideally suited to those who want to do teacher training (PGCE). Covering a wide range of topics, the course is divided into easy to follow modules. Each module contains figures, diagrams, examples and in-text questions to help you progress steadily. Particularly attention has been paid to difficult topics (like algebra). Everything you will need to start studying right away is provided - workbooks, two CD-ROM's and tutor support. Also included is a pen, scientific calculator, geometry set, mock examination papers and carry case.
The advantage of home study is flexibility. You are in control. Simply fit in your studying whenever and wherever you want. Study at home, in your lunch break at work, when the children have gone to bed, literally anytime, it is entirely up to you.
The whole syllabus is covered for the new two tier GCSE maths examination, covering both the foundation level (grades C to G) and higher levels (grades A* to D). Divided into six easy to follow workbooks†, topics covered include:
• The four basic rules of number
• Shape and space
• Geometry
• Graphs and charts
• Algebra
• Statistics and probability
† Coursework guidance is given on a CD-ROM. Please note coursework will no longer be part of the GCSE maths examination after November 2008.
