Entering for the GCSE Examination
You can take the GCSE in either summer or November. Summer exams are held in May/ June.
Contact your local exam centre in early January for the summer exams, and for November exams contact them in early September. You will be entering as an external or private candidate. Speak to the examination officer at the centre, and arrange with them to take the exam, giving the details below. Be aware there is a separate fee for this payable to the centre.
Note: although the course is suitable for all three examination boards, AQA, Edexcel and OCR, in our experience AQA is the best examination board for external candidates.
